Yim Tin Tsai (provisional)

Yim Tin Tsai is an island in Sai Kung. A Hakka salt panning village was once based there. The residents converted to Christianity in the 19th century. The island has since been abandoned, although recently a few residents have returned. Take a boat to the island, walk the island, the village, see local art, the restored church, and abandoned buildings. This is not a challenging walk. Participants will be asked to contribute to transport costs. Bring appropriate outdoors attire including walking shoes and hat. Bring sunscreen, water, and snacks. It is possible to buy food on the island.
